3D Environment Artist

Game Mechanic Studios is looking for a highly creative, self motivated artist with solid 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting skills for environments and prop work. We need someone with 3-4 years experience with 3D Studio Max or Maya.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

Creation of 3d Props and environment set pieces optimized for real-time games using 3dsMax or Maya
Creation of seamless textures and texture atlas work
Material and basic shader setup
Pro-active collaboration with team members designing and creating games

3-4 years experience with 3d Studio Max or Maya
Working knowledge of techniques for achieving high fidelity assets within a limited performance budget is required
Previous game creation experience is required and knowledge with iOS and Android is a plus
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment where priorities change quickly

Some experience with effects and animation skills are a plus
